Im looking for a little help with my 04 LLY. it is 100% stock..and im not sure if im having a power loss issue. Unless it is rainy it WILL NOT spin the tires! Not even if i brake stand it! i have 285/65's on stock wheels which does give me better traction, and i do plan on modding the truck when i have the $$, but i want to make sure the truck is strong to start before modding? anyone have some helpfull input?

Alright wise guy. Do you have any diagnostic codes? Have you hooked up a scanner of some sorts to read the codes? What does the trans fluid look like, does it smell burnt? Did you put a new fuel filter on? One bad tank of fuel will plug a new filter. How many miles are on the truck? You haven't given very much info for anyone to help you.

All trucks are different. A lot of that is how the truck unloads the rear, weight shifts, or the compound of the tires you run.

Mine wont burn the tires from a punch or chirp tires in any gear, but yet its fast as hell. Id rather hook and go.

80k miles.... need to replace filter because I was only told it was changer 5k ago and don't take anyones word for it. Trans fluid seems good...will flush it to be safe before winter hits. Rerouted Pcv today...noticed a good amount of oil that needs to burn off... zero lights or codes. :)

If you have to wait to save up money to mod your Family wagon, that means you wont have the money to fix it when you break it! If you want to do burn outs go buy a sht box older mustang and roast tires till your hearts content (mustangs are a dime a dozen and you can buy parts at any local liquor store) :thumb:

Ok, i installed my new mouthpiece and can feel a little more in the seat of the pants dyno... faster to build more kick... but still seems a little sluggish. i do not have a blocked EGR and have seen horror stories of the sotty buildup.. will probally tear into the intake to make sure that isnt plugged up, and also need to cave and get a boost guage. not sure if pillars are better or a bullydog digital monitor. cant seem to find any knoticalbe leaks fron the turbo lines in park with someone reving the engine up for me... any one have more tips??? my first diesel and first turbo rig, not sure of all the parts, stuck blow off maybe, bad torque converter???
