    Hey just in case anybody is interested, I caught the preview for Sunday's top gear on history and they r thrashing a ford, GM, and dodge heavy duty truck. Crew cab long bed 4x4's(assuming diesels). Pulling two train engines, pulling a house down, and racing them. Looks kinda cool. My dvr is set!

    No I just do it after Ive stopped and the flagman waves me off. I bump it in N. I'm curious about pulling 4th gear though. U guys with stock turbos r pulling 4th? I might try this

    I didn't realize so many stock turbo trucks snuffed out. The shift into neutral isn't that hard. It took me a couple pulls to get it down. Now it's just like clockwork.

    If I'm driving down the road and put it in neutral and rev it up it will bang sometimes(not that I've done it alot). But I throw mine in neutral after the flagman stops me and rev it a couple times. Not that I need to do it cause I doubt I will snuff out my stock turbo but when I go to a bigger...

    Best thing to do is order up a straight exhaust for 01-10, find a good tuner and order efilive v2 with dsp5 switch. I just used my second license on my brothers lmm and got 5 tunes for a stock trans/fuel system. It's a whole different truck now. Lots of venders on here can help u with buying efi...

    Hence the sled pulling forum. My bad. I'm no help on the nbs, but I pulled once with my 35's on there, 600lbs in the cab. A couple guys around here pull nbs trucks but they r all lifted on 35's.

    My brother just put 285 70 17's on his 07.5 and they rubbed a little. He trimmed a tiny bit and they r good now. I'm sure with a bunch of trimming they would work. I don't have a nbs but I ran 35x12.5x18's for a couple years on mine with a ton of trimming.

    I was running 285 70 17 bfg a/t to pull with, I sold them and will run a 285 75 16 very soon. I ran 35x12.5x18's for 2 years and had to trim a bunch. I think that's how I get away with 285's not rubbing.

    Im with jdlover. I either just stand on it right off the line or i build a little boost and let er rip. No matter how u do it it's fun as hell:thumb:
