    How to stop the Smoke

Does it haze at idle? And cruise, as well? I can tell you a smaller turbo won't fix that. It takes about 12k rail pressure to make 200s smoke free at idle (I mean smoke free like a stock truck) with ovals. Josh is correct, it's gonna take quite a bit of fine tuning to make the ovals run clean.

    Broken Crankshaft Count?

Well that brings us back to the point that's already been made, the factory block was engineered for 300hp... torsional twisting is not a problem at 300hp, throw and turbo and tune on and you're at 600hp, which would require a complete redesign of everything from a factory point of view. Also...

    Spacers

It depends on what wheels you have. Mine did not require cutting. (Novakanes)

    Spacers

I'm running spacers on mine at over 1000 horsepower. And ran at 600hp for a year. I made my on though. They were hub centric and made from 6061 T6

    Increased shift points.

3400 is about it. The motor really falls off power wise at that point.

Made it to the track last night

Didn't get the dmax ready, she is leaking oil and coolant... But we took my buddies cummins and made some passes. Finally got drag slicks installed and what a difference. I know I know, forgive me:o. But there's no way my truck would have been ready. Just too much little stuff to get done...

LMM: Little late to the party, twins are on finally

Had the turbo and kit for over 6 months, but finally got them on. I know it's nothing special to most of you guys, but I'm impressed. It's so smooth, power band is such an improvement over the single vvt. Waid

LLY: Why use a RACE FUEL VALVE

Exactly, when you shim the valve you have no idea where the new pop off pressure is set. Could be 80,000psi for all you know. So that kinda throws the whole "I like safety backup" argument out the window.

    Injector Spray Pattern - LMM

But you have to remember, pushing a boat takes all the power the motor can make.... in essence it's the same as WOT in a truck 100% of the time. If that makes sense. (I figure you already know this) but some people don't. They think spinning a prop is like free revving in neutral. Iirc a 32...

LLY: Why use a RACE FUEL VALVE

Keeps rail pressure up. Factory valve can be weak and allow fuel to leak to the return side, thus causing low rail pressure during power enrichment. It's a safe mod.

The easiest thing to start with is inspecting all the rubber fuel lines. They get weak with age and the cp3 will collapse them shut under heavy fuel demand. It could also be a simple as a weak fuel pressure relief valve.... the race plug from ppe is cheap.... Diagnosing the injectors and cp3 is...
