I would do some datalogs to see where you're actually shifting at now. I was running stock WOT shift points in my 01 OS, which were 3200 iirc, turns out it was actually shifting at 3050 to 3100 on my big tune. On my tow tune it was shifting spot on at the WOT set point, but the big tune it was shifting 100-125 rpm low. I always thought it seemed like it was shifting in the power instead of at the top of it. Moved them up to 3350-3400, and it's now shifting around 3275-3300 which moved it up to where it feels better shifting(don't think it helped my accel any, but it did make the shifts feel not so abrupt).
