    LLY: Sporadic Low Oil Pressure

    I have a friend who has it... What would I be checking for, to see if what efi live shows matches up with the guage shows to see if its the guages problem or if the guage is actually correct? It ticks me off, The ppe tuner shows alot of stuff on the diag. mode but dosent show oil pressure....

    Thanks for the info, but I've owned this truck for a while and its always sat 2 more little notches up, or just a little bit below the first big notch on the guage, and now it spuratically goes down this low, So Im kinda thinking somethings not 100%.... Im running Rotella T 15-40

    Hay guys, So I've been having these troubles on and off lately, every now and then I'll pull up to a stop light and all the suddon my truck has very low oil pressure, At this level I'd assume it should come up on the DIC with a warning of low oil pressure but nothing comes up so I kinda thinking...

    Are you sure its 6420.... My regular cab long box weights in at 6800? Something dosent sound right or am i somehow carrying alot of extra weight....

    Thanks for the advice guys, Im gonna have to get to that soon.... The problem is it only does it under a slight load and i've drove around with the tuner in my hand and looked thru everything thing and its showing all the injectors firing properly... Yesterday I Put it back up to level 3 on...

    Myn popped a code immediatly... Went to the drag strip and made a couple passes and it disappeared and never came back on... Seems like ripping on it made it recalibrate....

    Thanks for the suggestions, Im running sunoco gold diesel which is pretty much the best stuff we can buy in canada... 3 cents more per liter then the regualar stuff... When i use the diagnostics on the PPE tuner all the injectors seem to be firing property and the fuel pressure is good... If...

    Hay guys, So I bought an spa boost / pyro guage off of eds04dmax a few weeks ago, finally got it yesterday... Decided to put it on, everything works great except for the egt's, It'll read normally until i put the sensor in the uppipe... I dont know if its grounding out, or not getting grounded...
