Need some help with spa egt. guage....

Hay guys, So I bought an spa boost / pyro guage off of eds04dmax a few weeks ago, finally got it yesterday... Decided to put it on, everything works great except for the egt's, It'll read normally until i put the sensor in the uppipe... I dont know if its grounding out, or not getting grounded or whats happening here, as soon as i pull it out it registers perfectly on the gauge again...

Could you guys give me a hand..

Is this with connector between sensor and gauge? All I can think is that connector is loose when sensor is in place, or there is some wire broken and cant get contact in some positions.
