    New Shoes

DANG!!! Those are some sweet-lookin' tires. That aggresive tread pattern is WAY cool. Are they very loud on the highway?

    The Wedding

I think we're gonna have to see some pics of her Dancing before we can 'really' make a coherent decision.... Preferably to a song with a heightened tempo....

    Transmission cooler line questions

Yeah, I saw those. I'm just fixing the one leaky line this time. If another leak starts than I'll pry the wallet apart and get the kit Tony is selling. I would do it this time but the truck is my daily driver and I can't wait for the shipping time. It HAS to be up and running by tomorrow night.

    Transmission cooler line questions

Is there any kind of dressing (sealant, grease, etc...) that needs to be applied to the line ends before they are pushed back where they belong???

    Transmission cooler line questions

I was able to get the clamp apart. I decided I didn't care if I broke it so I took a big'ole screwdriver and pried it open. It opened and did NOT break..... cool. Was able to wrangle the leaky line out in one piece (PITA...) and took it to the NAPA parts store to get it fixed. When I got there...

    Transmission cooler line questions

Thanks Dozerboy. I would really like to re-use it when I re-install the lines. BUT I guess I can go buy a generic insulated clamp and mod it to work. Hate to break it though......

    Transmission cooler line questions

Just got in from working on the truck. Was out there for 2.5 hours, mostly flat on my back in the driveway under the truck. QUESTION: There's a clamp holding the trans supply/return lines together and to the engine block. Looks like a clamshell type, with a hinge, so I KNOW it opens. question is...

    Transmission cooler line questions

Dang It!!! I've had my '06 CCSB for a whole three weeks and I noticed the trans fluid leak last night.... I went to the local Chevy Shop and talked with the Service Manager. He confirmed that the lines are Crap, and Chevy has had problems with them for years. He also confirmed that the...

    I got a new shooter

Checl out the Smith&Wesson M&P 9C... I like mine a lot. Great shooter. If you want a Sub-Compact, the Kel-tec PF9 is a solid pocket-carry semi-auto. Not a range queen (not fun to shoot) but will go Bang every time you pull trigger.

Should I color match my front?

I have a Greystone Metallic '06, and am thinking of getting all the chrome pieces replated with the "Black Chrome". I'm thinking the color-contrast would be very cool. I've never been a fan of the 'Shiny' chrome.....

    Howdy Folks!

Howdy Folks, Just bought a 2006 Silverado LT CrewCab 2500HD, with the 6.6L Duramax LBZ, and 61,000 miles. Traded in my 2005 5.3L Silverado because I bought a 30-foot Travel Trailer, and needed something with a higher Tow Capacity. First drive was 365 miles (from Bella Vista, AR to...

    What to do !

There are those who say the original intake will flow enough air to support approx. 500HP. (although the aftermarket intakes do look cool:D Start with Programmer and then Exhaust, imo. PPE airbox mod is free, and the EGR block/PCV reroute are relatively cheap. Over-large Tires will hurt...
