    Help: Mirrors

    To go all black and get a kick ass mirror - try the TTT ones. Not that cheap but they look awsome, have great vision function, and have turn signal which my OEMs did not. I am loving the look and think it is one of the reasons I get so many compliments on my rig even though it is an 01.

    LB7 Towing Turbo

    Thanks guys - Couple of follow-up questions... Will either of these spool faster than the stock turbo? What else makes them better than the stocker - higher boost pressure? How would twins compare? (stocker compounded with a larger turbo) Seems that this would be ideal.

    1056 vs 1057

    I got a 1056 based on the fact that I do a good amount of trailering and I operate at altitudes 3000-8,000 feet so spool-up and getting my load moving were a priority over a quick coupling converter. 1057 probably would work just fine for me too and might have been a bit more fun hotrodding...

    centerlink??

    If one will launch their truck pretty rarely but is running some pretty high #2 power (450+) is a centerlink needed or just tie-rod sleeves (or do I not even need those)? I'd rather not lose any turning radius as this is mostly a daily driver/horse trailer pulling truck.

    DSP5 switch....

    I think I want to install mine under the trap door compartment where you can stick a garage door opener. That location is unused as my opener wont fit in there. Thought it would be good to have the switch hidden if I were to use a valet or anti-theft tune on it.

    Installing Stage 4 Trans KIt

    This is incorrect. EFI Live can clear TAPS which does put it into fast learn. If you have V1 you'll need to burn a license on the TCM though. V2 is VIN based so you can tune your ECM and TCM with one lic.

    Am I missing something here? What advantage does this have over getting the EFI Live Commercial/Race Tune package? Can't you get a tow tune from the repository or from DP or make your own and up load it plus the free race tune and have the same thing for $150 less?
