I thought I would share my build with you all. It's a 2002 GMC 2500hd regular cab long box. I have owned it for about 6 years and has always been more of a toy. I have been sled pulling in the work/stock class for 2 years and have did very well. So have now decided to move up and play with the big boys in the 2.6 class!!!

Thanks to all who have contributed the great wealth of info on DD!

Zak, truck is coming along nicely! That's quite the parts list you have there!

Ben, shoo wee bud! I saw some of your 2.5 competitors at the KTPA pull in Lex Sat. I was told they were still running their 2.5 chargers in the 2.6 class and they STILL made the finals Sat. night.

Yeah it's tough down here to say the least lol. And yes all of them where running their 2.5 chargers. Atleast my nbc sports shows make me look like I know what I'm doing ( 2 seconds, and a third) but I really can't compete with those guys on a regular weekend haha

Thanks! I will probably stretch it to 158" next winter, not enough time this year!

2.6 winner with FPP here in PA, was a reg cab dually dodge Dan holnaider. He proved that you dont need a long wheelbase to dominate. Just food for thought for ya!
