Well I can tell you by owning a kodiak , you can use a tech 2 to recalibrate your speedo . This can be done on 4500's but not little 2500 trucks .

Joe at PPE did mine back in the day before he figured out the speed governor. It was driving me nuts only being able to go 75mph .

It was the only way to stay off the speed governor , he set it half so 30 was 60 . Not sure if you can do with efi , Im sure you probably can . But I know you can use the tech 2 on 4500's to adjust the speedo . You just need to figure the math out and adjust . And find someone that has one and knows how to use it .

jerry all the tunes i have form you have you setup and cal'd for 41" tires and speed govenore removed...

cell H0101 should be this number 103464
40" tires and 5.13 gears

I had already set the H0101 to 105253.....That was the calculated ratio for pulses per mile....I must be going the wrong way because it is still off by about 13 MPH. I will try the new number Adam, and see if that makes a difference.

What do you think of the rims being painted??? Not sure if I like the factory grey color, might go black.....just not sure if it would be something I would like or not.
