Have they put more cushion on the seats compared to a 21'? I can handle about 3 hours in mine before I have to get out. Until I added a piece of foam topper for long trips.
My ‘20 gasser was the same way. That and the trans were the biggest reasons I got rid of it.
Love the seats in my ‘03. Although the drivers cushion is about due for a replacement.

My buddy that is a gm tech says he’s had lots of trans pump seals fail in the 10 speeds.

I liked the seats in my LBZ and LB7 but the newer ones aren’t so wide and I like that I don’t feel like I’m sitting on a couch while driving. But I’m not a big guy at 165 lbs either so I get the bigger guys liking the older seats.

I took the truck in a week ago friday for the few problems I've been having. So all the little glitches I've had are all electrical problems. Even the remote start. I had a bunch of low voltage codes. Turns out I had two bad batteries. One battery was measured out at 9.15 volts. I was noticing that it didn't sound really strong when starting but never left me stranded. Here's the kicker. Three months after I purchased the truck, I took it in for a software upgrade and they also replaced a battery. They said they tested everything and they couldn't find any parasitic draw on the system.

Yep. Anywhere between 50-100 miles 5 days a week. The weekend is maybe 50 miles. I've got almost 16,000 miles on it.

I think that’s just on the 1500’s.
I don't know how accurate the article is but it states up to 3500HD is affected:

General Motors has issued a recall for its brand-new 2024 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500, 2500, and 3500 pickup trucks due to mysteriously cracking roofs. Over 3000 models are affected by the recall, and GM has not issued an explanation for the roof concerns.

It will be interesting to see how the remedy it.

New Cab ($$$$$$$$$$$)
Strip the area, reweld, repaint ($$$$)
Squirt it with some "special" sealant and replace rubber cover strip/gasket. Resale is going to drop on these if that's the case and as an owner I'd be pissed.

Good looking truck man. Hopefully the seats get worked over on the next gen trucks. They are terrible in the current trucks.

I know everyone is saying the previous seats were horrible and have a few friends that bought Ford's cause of that. I actually like the seats in my 24. I also came from an 03 with 260,000 mile seats.

I take it you sit "on" these seats, not "in" them, or the other way around? No/not enough side bolster support?

It’s like sitting on a bleacher with 1/2” of foam. There is bolstering but for my light weight ass, i don’t care for them. The more i sit in them, the better they seem to be getting though.
