It's not too bad. I replaced both up-pipes so I took out both fender liners, remove trans dipstick, remove downpipe (if still all stock you have turbo and downpipe heat sheilds), if you're putting in an aftermarket downpipe you'll have to modify the stock dipstick some, remove both up-pipes, intake, mouthpiece, hot side tube, then you should be ready to get to the turbo. If you still have the EGR intact it would be the time to get rid of it all. IMO it would be a good time to add a y-bridge as well, I didn't at first and still blew the factory one apart with a well supported delete tube. The turbo itself has 3 bolts holding it, drain tube, few wires to unplug, and a couple coolant hoses. I used a long extension with swivel and socket to get the 3 turbo bolts out. I put some tape around each joint to make sure it didn't come apart and fall in the valley. The biggest pain may be how tight the up-pipe bolts will be if they have never been out. I put anti-seize on them before putting back in.
