The cops would have a field day with you guys in my area!

I had a black reg cab s10 with 5 on all the windows and 20 on the shield. Cop pulled me over and asked if I had any dead bodies in the truck. I looked to the right then looked back and said. If I could fit them I would. He laughed and let me off.

Now I work for the city so that helps out.

Windshield:

I had 70% 3m ceramic tint on my last truck! I miss it! it was barely noticeable inside the truck at night but made a very noticeable difference in the cab during the day
:thumb:

Sides:

3m ceramic in a 35% made them slightly darker than the rear, just slightly, my front windows had that uv solar glass, not the crystal clear stuff.

Current cars:

The bimmer got 50 all around and looks very classy and is really functional at night

I put 15% all around (not the windshield) on my golf, and it's pretty dark, at night I get glare and reflection from all my instruments, I have to roll my side window down to back up in dark areas and it's sometimes hard to see when taking corners at night in dark areas, it rocks during the daytime although I think I would've been just as happy with a 35% instead.

Our legacy that went to Cali with our daughter we put 55 front and 35 in the rears and it's a very "stock like" look for tint, and is functional at night

I really like the 3m ceramic film, however it's not available in every percentage offered. To get a factory like tinted look with this film, 70 on the front and 50 in the rear will do it, you could even go 35 on the back window and still have a "factory tinted" look

For a windshield I don't think I'd go much darker than a 50 in a ceramic film, as ceramic tends to yield a darker look.

Sucks around here as I luv tint ,I tint everything I got even my CJ is tinted! It also saves your interior from fading !I think Florida is the best for allowing tint, maybe Arizona too?

My buddy with a shady looking blazer he got nailed twice for tint. In the 5 vehicles i've had they have all been tinted and i've haven't got in trouble (knock on wood). If i see a cop i roll em down. I think if your driving something that looks sketchy and your blacked out your gonna get pulled over alot easier. I just wanna tint the windshield so they cant see my reaching for the ''mo powa'' switch when pulling season comes around :roflmao:

I have had cars tinted at 35% on the sides and back and was fine with that. My friend just bought a truck with 5% and its absolutely horrible at night in my opinion. I wouldn't be able to live with it despite it looking good.

Best outside pic I have...

Inside wise I see awesome! Only trouble I have ever had is turning in a super dark area thru my side windows... Windshield wise tho if anything it helps with glare from on coming traffic and what not...

Downside... Always looks like it's getting ready to storm outside untill you roll down the windows and look out

Here's my old truck with 20 on shield and 5 all around. You couldn't see in it during the day. Just made an appointment for this Saturday for the new truck. I'll get pics once that's done. Probably won't go as dark this time since it's a white truck

The blacked out windshields do look cool but 50% on the windshield is just right does a good job keeping the sun/uv out you can still see well out of it at night and isn't to noticeable for unwanted attention anything darker and your just asking for a ticket/pulled over and then that could lead to other problems more tickets or go to jail just keep that in mind :thumb:
