Matt I think Travis is right you need to look into TQ management and what your converter is doing. You should be leaving higher than 1900 and there shouldnt be anything stopping you from walking through the brakes.

maybe you are losing boost from the factory intake..... the connection between the plastic tube (intercooler outlet) and the intake inlet (where the throttle body is). There is a little o-ring in there, coulda been a bad seal even from the factory.

i really dont think its a boost leak... i think its traction and tq management issues because of what the converter is doing. get us some logs huthuthuthuthuthut

I dont get it!!!!!!!!!

I just did 2 logs and launched like a sonofabitch at like 2250 with NO problem getting there. Could the heat effect it? Track temps were 103 down to about 90 at my last run. I dont think so, I seem very consistent at these time.

The truck felt way faster just now. Heres 2 logs:

1st 4wd launch no TH
2nd 4wd launch TH

BAH! cant upload .EFI files? KATTTTTTTTTTT! :D

Usually, tried it both ways last night and virtually no difference. I try to use TH only when Im gonna be wot on teh street or track so as to "Train" it - didnt do shit.

I think I may need some TAPS reset or something, my trans is definitely not acting how it should.

Download Winzip now to zip these up

Run 3:

R/T: .235

Didnt Jody go 12.7x's on the McRat tune? Id say to look deeper Matt make sure everything is correct and something weird didnt happen. Ill always help if you need it you know that . Like Pat said just hang in itll get sorted.

oh dont act like you knew tht before me :D but i woild agree to look into tht a vvt will build boost regardless so u may be making 32 psi at 80% vane angle istead of 40 or so. i stil havent seen the tcm question answered have you tuned it yet ? you truck should run 13.0 13.1. 12s with great 60fts 1.77 or better are you shure your speed liiter is set to disable ?
