If you watch the video at the top of first gear the smoke gets very thick and shoots out in a hurry... That's when I flipped the switch.. I'll take some screenshots of the log.. Rail pressure goes from about 22,000psi to 29,000 (sensor max) instantly.. The fuel pressure on the big pw run (the video above) never went below 24,000. It's getting plenty of fuel..

Basically when I left the line and the truck got settled I cut the second pump off.

It seemed to work well.. The turbobrake locked the converter perfectly on every run!

Thanks again...

Brayden
What are you switching off? The regulator wiring so the pump goes wide open?

1.700 was my first pass which netted 11.75 @ 114
1.704 was the last pass which netted 11.55 @ 117.

The 1000' numbers were interesting on the last pass since I added a ton of fuel on top which gained nearly 2 tenths. It pulled very hard on that last run with the extra pw.

Thanks,

Brayden

Nice times. What exactly is the 60' time? I saw 1.7, but was it a high or low 1.7? Definitely has an 11.4x in it if you get the 60' down into the mid 1.6s. A lighter wheel tire combo, and you're there.

Yep :cool2:

The first 2 runs are Gale Banks clean.. The 3rd and 4th are smokier because I drug the pulse width out for some more power. If I shrink it back down to the normal 2200 uS or so and get 100% over injectors I think it will clean back up.

Awesome times, on a lighter tire/wheel combo you would have been kicked off. What are you doing for torsion bars and either traction bars or clamped springs in the rear.

Looks like next year it is time to throw a lot more fuel at mine and see how much further I can push an LLY with a Cheetah on stock bottom end. We'll see what the race headers and up-pipes get me before the track closes for this year I hope. Then I'm thinking a modded CP3 (brand depends on the results of the face-off) for Christmas will be brought out for next year's opening race.

We may also be ordering 2 more Cheetah's this winter for some customer's rides.

Bars are all the way down... Front Suspension has limiting straps to avoid front end rise.. Springs were clamped. That's it.

I agree on the tires.. A set of M&H's would've been cool :D

Congrat's guy's!!! That's haulin ass for sure on #2. So the basic mod's are duel cp's and braydens charger? Injectors?

pretty sure it has 80% over Extrude Hone injectors. I don't know if they left it or not but back when it was a single CP3 truck, I'm pretty sure it had some FPRV work done. Not sure if it's still that way or not though. Rather impressive IMO.

The truck has 60% over injectors..

The relief valve is shimmed but not blocked... It will saturate the sensor at 29,xxx psi on the logs.. Lowest Rail pressure I recorded was the last run at 24,000 psi on a shift as rpms dropped.. it quickly recovered back to 27,xxx. :D

Not if you tune it correctly.. It also runs over 26,000 psi of fuel pressure all the time so that helps.

The pulse width on my injector tunes is much lower than what you'd see on a normal max effort tune. Shorter duration = efficient burning. I'll get the other vid's up.. The first runs don't hardly smoke at all past 1st gear.
