Most tracks check helmet for snell rating, pull down the inner linning and should be a snell sticker there. If not a snell, find one to bring.

Man that tranny defuels bad. Looks fast though!

It's not blistering the tires off though.... just searching for traction... about right IMO.. You have to take into account these are Indiana's finest roads.. Just before the video was taken a combine passed me a dusted the road with chaff :D :D :D

Excuses Excuses ;)

Thats impressive Brayden, get those shifts dialed in and it looks like you will run some good times. We need to talk, I habe tried the shop a few times. I really need to get some research done on the 71.5mm. I cant wait to see how it runs tomorrow.

I ran the dyno number of 730hp and the trucks weight of 6650lbs through an E.T. calculator and it said 1/4 mile time should be 12.16 and trap speed shoud be 112.04. Don't know how accurate that is but I ran those numbers though several different calculators and they all gave me the same number. So I don't think we'll be gettin kicked out for not having a roll cage but it sure would be nice, but I don't think it's gonna happen. I just wanna see it lay down what it should and hopefully that's good enough to keep all the nay sayers quiet.

Brayden, I'm sure that you have some better rims and tires sitting around the shop or on a Chevy or Dodge. On my Incubus 20 x 9s with 305-50R20 Cooper Zeon XSTs I run at least .1 slower in the 1/8 and the 1/4 magnifies this worse. I think my best 60' on them is 1.72 and my best 1/8 was a 7.94. On worn out 285-75 BFG ATs on PYOs I have cut a 1.66 and gone 7.83 in the 1/8. I ran the same on 255-85 Tempra Trail cutters on PYOs. These times are on the same setup and tuning other wise and I haven't run the 20s in the 1/4 since i was stock. My truck does much better with a second gear launch. I can get plenty of boost for a 1st gear launch but just can't get traction - with the E-locker locked on cheater slicks I spun all the way through 1st and chirped going into 2nd with an 1700-1800 RPM launch. 2nd gear I can launch at 2400-2500 RPM and not spin on the BFGs. Just depends on the rest of the setup so play with both.

If I can pull 12.40s out of a 539hp EC LLY and Chris pulls 12.42s out of his 531hp EC LBZ with stock motor - then I would really hope you guys can get a 730hp RC in the mid 11s easy. Good luck getting kicked off the track.

I think with proper setup 11's should be realatively easy. I ran 11.4 in a 7200lb truck, and i can't imagine that my truck is 800hp+ but maybe it is.

We got some other tires coming if a swap is necessary. I know of this guy who never races anymore that has a set of worn 285 BFGs. Bring your impact.;)

I dyno'd 668 and ran a 11.70 @ 115.6 in a crew cab. Mid 11's should be in the cards with that HP and weight. Get a good 60' and you'll have a good ET.

Good luck today!!!!

Over the weekend I went 11.89 @ 114 with about the same weight as your truck, and I doubt I have 730 HP. I would think mid 11s at 117 are doable. Good luck to you.
