I just talked to Brayden, he's got the truck ready to go. The only thing that was done to reduce weight was stuff that needed to be removed. We emptied the toolbox but left the toolbox in, removed the slide in pulling hitch and that's it. Swapped out the pulling tires and wheels for a set of 20x10 moto metals with Cooper Zeon's and tuned the tranny. The scales at the grain elevator weighed it in at 6600lbs and some change with Brayden in it. She's ready to go and I must repeat not being there SUCKS. Wish the truck luck.

Hey Jarrod, did anyone call ORP to check on the rear bumper rule. Tech is supposed to check for "street legal".

Also, tell the pilot to bring a current Snell spec helmet. Required for quicker than 13.99.

Do motorcross helmets pass snell?

The truck weighs 6650 with me in it. I'll be making the first pass. It's a bit of a pre-flight checklist launching the thing but it's fun for sure.

I think she's dialed in pretty well. The only thing I don't like is the 5th gear shift drops some serious rpm's (1000) . The turbo didn't like the factory shift to down to 2200 rpms so I've raised it a bunch.. All the shifts are right about 4000 rpms and I'm contemplating putting the 4-5 at roughly 4200 to put it back in the meat of 3200-4600 that this motor likes... Anybody disagree?

Check this video out... 5th gear shift at 3700 rpms..

I didn't get a nitrous bottle in time to try and kill it.. :( Oh well.

Yes the trans has some defuel in it but I don't think I can shorten it up any more than that without shutting defuel off and I didn't find it to be much faster...

Tommy.. Did you have defuel on your truck shut off?

My mx helment has a dot sticker on it but no snell rating:confused: I've used it and even had it in the truck when teching before and not a word was said about it.

If you got the laptop and logging the run you can always run a webcam:D
