A good friend of mine goes to Goodwill everyday and finds a lot of cool stuff. He text me with a picture of this box yesterday and ask if I wanted it for $4? I said sure, I can use the metal box. I didn’t know it had stuff in it.

Today, its 33 years driving a brown truck.

I doubt we'll go on strike. Hoffa and UPS are too busy patting themselves on the back about this new rip-off of a contract. If we vote it down (Cali and Canada phucked us in 2013), they'll just go back to the negotiating table and figure out a different way to screw us over.

We are just serfs and peons to two companies now. Hoffa needs to go.

Congrats on 33 years I admire anyone that sticks with the company that long. The longest I’ve worked for anyone is two years, but I’ll probably stick with where I’m at for a little while longer.

Oh the joys of union life. Thats the reason I’m not a fan of them. I can speak for myself. Which might be why I only work at a company for two years....

Landed a 2-7/8 tubing hanger, set a BPV, installed a production tree and tested it to 10k. Figured out my test pump is broke so had to go get one off another tech nearby. Then finally home to fix what didn't get done correctly in the shop

Welded two 6” barb fittings on 2 flanges for a customers oil cooler so they can put a hose where the flex pipe didn’t hold.

Had to read that twice, thought it said yams at first :roflmao:

Funny enough I wrote yams a few times in my notes. Starting to like this job after they moved me. Brand new automated machines and a raise. Less stress. More money. Machines that tell you EXACTLY what’s wrong with them. Easy to program. Life is good currently guys. Tho this 7 days a week might get old fast...

For the non-ag guys.. that wonder how this is done- basically you find two corn hybrids that have different coloration to them. Then you have to have a planter that plants two hybrids- not all planters have that capability. Then you have to have someone who has the software and the knowledge to create the prescription for the planter. As the farmer drives with two different hybrids in the planter, the prescription automatically shuts off and turns off each hybrid at the correct spot. All of this is possible because of the very high accuracy RTK GPS, which knows your location in the field within an inch or two.

I was just thinking how beautiful the sky was over Hambone's crew.

For the latest installment of "What weird animal did Tom see on his route today?", I got to see a yak at my large-animal vet today.

Yep.....a real, honest-to-goodness yak. No, I wasnt delivering a route in Tibet, either. (Although that would be kinda cool). Just Westphalia, same as always :hehe:

It belongs to the same person who owns the zebra I mentioned a while back. It looked like a small cow with curly, heavy fur. Pretty cool.
