You matched that right down to the weld seam thru the middle. Damn man, nice job! :thumb:

I should ask you some time the proper way to weld brackets to an axle tube.

Thank you sir. If we lived closer to each other I would weld them on for you!

Made 2 U-bolts for a customers piece of farm equipment. I don't know how they're supposed to be made but there has to be an easier way. This is the only way I know how to make them though.

Good grief I wanna go do that so bad again. Looks like had a good day.

Yea, it was unbelievable down here this week! No wind and the tuna were biting the jig the best I've ever seen them. We had 17 tuna in 1 hour of jigging and then went to Boca Grande and whacked the flag yellow tails. I love Key West in February, have to head home today, high of 43.. I'm excited to see my boy and wife though...:)

The hilux got a flat, broke the valve stem, and of course when they up armored it they took out the Jack and the bar to lower the spare no one had the type valve stem we needed so I had to crawl under and lower the pare with a screw driver.

Customer brought a shaft in that he tried to get a 5/32" woodruff key out. Drilled and tapped three 4-40 holes in it and used the only bolts we had then squeezed it in the vise and pulled it out.

Still working on this fertilizer attachment. Does anyone know where I can buy auger parts? I know they are made in a special roll form machine and this one has a left and a right. It's on a 1" shaft so it shouldn't be that difficult. Has anyone ever made an auger?

Easiest to just buy the part, but if you have to make your own...

Use the old one as a guide and tack the end of the stock to the old auger. Now, heat the stock along the outside edge red hot perpendicular to where the stock contacts the shaft and bend the stock around the shaft. You only want to heat that area. Take your time and use clamps every once in a while to keep things straight.
