Been so busy at work the past 5 months it's not even funny. Been working in northern AZ a lot, here is my assigned crane, full luffer, 415' height, replacing a cement elevator chain and buckets we did all last week.

Boom was scoped in at the time, we run it at 160ish' of boom and 249 of luffer. It's a Tadano 450 ton. Newest crane in the fleet, for a short while, we bought 3 new cranes this year, 2 new 330 ton crawlers and a new 450 ton sister to this for our yard opening in Colorado.

Are you oiler or operator?

That's a lot of luff! Nice pictures.

I'm an oiler, I have operated our truck 90 ton cranes but I don't have enough experience nor comfortable with them yet haha.

Looking like Aurora. Our 330 ton Liebherr is at a McLane foodservice tilt panel job up there right now.

It'll happen. I should have gotten into operators when I got into Ironworkers 20 years ago...my body is feeling it. LOL

Even though we use those oil can squirters a lot I prefer conventional lattice boom rigs.

I'm troubleshooting the autogrease systems on a Komatsu PC 3000 today. Good times when it's -35C with the windchill.

I was just told I might need to take a man lift down into the pit though to hang the winter fronts again on our PC 8000. Not excited about that one. Should be fun in the 30mph gusts and blowing snow.

Not as crazy as what some of you do. Just laid down some mig beads on a pt122 frame, now we're waiting for 3/4" of ice to hit the roads. We're all bouncing out at 11.
