That's a beautiful truck, I got a weakness for big rigs...
I'm running this right now, since we started having some engine issues with the hills in WV, and how hard we're pulling...
I'm working on getting into oversize equipment hauling, and getting away from buildings... Holmes Rental is willing to share some of their excess work, so I'd have a good start there...

Eeeeh, I'm sure it'd be crap work, but it'd give me something to work at... They do more custom hauling than actual hauling of their own stuff...

I'll have to stop by sometime... You home weekends? Live on the corner there in Walnut Creek?

Bought and brought home the LMM future replacement.
99 fl60 23k give 8/15k axles air ride cab, seats and rear axle, someone swapped in a dt466/9sp out of a international bus im told.. originally had a 3116/6 or 7 sp
3.73 gears.
Idk about the dt466 might get swapped for a 8.3.. pending ratio set in the 9sp it might get swapped for a rtlo13sp and did gears drop to 3.08-3.23
Frame was lengthened.. wheelbase is ~190" I'm going to shorten it back to 150-160"
Swapped 245/70/19.5 back on with aluminum rims. Plus a lot of little stuff...

Not exactly sure where to start a build thread on this yet

I'll be revenue neutral with 10mpgs..if that's what you're referring too..

I got a steep learning curve on a MD truck that has repowered and in some what hacked fashion

45 crisp Benjamins... In all reality I'll have 30-40k wrapped up into this...
It says 144k miles...on the international dash that is graphed into a freightliner dash...sooo.... Yeah lol
The guy said 70mph with 11r22.5(42") is ~2100 rpm with 3.73 gears.. means the 9sp trans is not a OD trans.

I wrote out what I thought the ideal truck for what i do would be over on compd

Mechanically..
ISL9 size engine, completely de emissions, @400/1200- 450/1500 hp/tq with engine retarder
The LMM is ~400/800 at tires so.. ~450/900-950 crank ish extra 3-400tq would definitely run
9/13sp Eaton double OD
air suspension F/R with full manual dump and over inflate capability on both axles
air disc(meritor pan 19, 14.8" disc brakes),
245/70/19.5" H load
9k/17k axles, (lockable diff)
26k/54k gvwr/gcvwr
34-36" top frame height, ( preferred 32" but doubt I'll have enough up travel between bottom of frame and top of axle, it be less than 3" up travel with 10 5/8" common frame size, on rough measurements and 5" axle tube)
170" WB.
100-150 gallons onboard
10 5/8" frame
Body
42" flat top style sleeper, with a proportionately widened/lengthened/raised, pickup truck style cab, keeping the truck under 84" tall preferred less than 78"
Obviously full power windows/locks/seats/mirrors
Heat/cooled seats
Heated mirrors
Keyless entry with remote start
AC/heat with cabin filters
Full HUD display, plus DIC with mechanical gauges

I just meant with all you plan to do it was probably worth picking up.

That's going to be one hell of a truck. Looking forward to see it come together :thumb:

Normal delivery day -- until -- toward end of day, Im pulling down a ~400yd driveway to a home. Wife is on the porch with her phone out, I think she's texting or talking to someone --- but she keeps "following" me with it as I approach the house.

"Oh f-ing great, she's videoing me" is what Im thinking.

So I get the truck turned around, and back up to the house. Walk thru the cargo area to open the back doors, as she had 5 large heavy packages. When I look out, yup, still pointing that phone at me. So I ask, "Are you videoing me?" "Yes" is the reply. "Could you please stop? I do not appreciate it" was my retort (b/c I dont!). She gives me this look ---- and proceeds to shut the camera off without argument.
Now I dont know why she was doing it, and I didnt ask. Maybe she was just excited to see these boxes and was "telling" her friends on Facebook? I really dont give a crap. If I tripped up the stairs and dropped a box, what would happen? Use it as proof? I felt my rights as a person just doing my job were being violated.

On a good note, I was offered to buy a 1999 Silverado 4x4 with a 5.3, 190,000 miles, for $500. Runs perfect, just the frame broke under the drivers door and the truck is obviously not safe to drive. Im tempted to buy it, keep the engine and part the rest.

So anyway -- I had a nice day.

Built a lift for 4x4 water truck so the front floaters don't rub.
