Well from what I can tell thesee dam scales are pretty much like a dyno if you don't both use the same scale you can throw this numbers right out the window.Corey weighed his truck and he came in at at 6900 lightweighted.Wayne weighed in at Byron dragway and came in At 6800 at almost full weight that's a ccsb and Corey is a xcsb.so unless it's calibrated once a month I don't trust it.

Sorry I'm late to the party here but I work at a fertilizer dealer and our scales have to be certified by the state of IL. Now I'm not saying that the state isn't crooked (lol) but our scale is accurate and my truck is 6550 without me so that puts it at 6800 with driver (me) and that's not striped down with a gooseneck and bumper hitch so the Byron scale was pretty much right on.

Is there anyway a crew cab short bed can be 6100 lbs without a driver? I find it very hard to believe.

I got my LBZ down to 6650 with me in it and she was naked..

I could see that being the case if it was completely stripped and didnt have a spray-in bedliner or other extras.

Just so I am sure, I am using the stock injector hold downs with the SoCal stud kit, stock allen bolt is 38ft lbs, stud is 55 or 65ft lbs, has anyone else done this?

my socal instruction sheet said 65ft lbs, i bought the kit with the hold downs.

Pulled these up for 05monstermax, he is having injectors lift and used aftermarket bolts, and only tq'd them to 35ft lbs

Don't know, but 05monsterdmax is having some injector leaking issues after building his engine, and he mentioned the hold down bolts specifically, and said he only tq'd em down to 35ft lbs, I know I saw that the aftermarket studs required 65, just tryin to help:hug:
