I was able to hit a new PR yesterday on squats. Got my 350, now time to set my sights on 400. I feel that journey will take quite a bit longer. Going to have to get more consistent with my protein intake.

Good job! I was stuck trying to get 315 forever it seemed. 405 came much faster that getting to 315. Just make sure your form is spot on as heavy weights are not forgiving on the body.

Ditched the weights at home, finally joined a gym. Machine back rows,5 sets 10 reps per. Barbell rows 155x10x5 upright barbell rows 100x10x5. Chinups 5x7. Grabbed some random back row station and knocked out 6 more sets of 10 reps. Then managed to do a crap load of curls of various weights and sets, pretty much torched my biceps.

Chris, I think you will like the 6 week program. It's the one that has been best for me, I suggest finding your true one rep max. The first cycle I did the rep test to determine my max and it was a struggle and somewhat discouraging. I was having trouble hitting some of the lifts. I tested my 1RM before the 2nd cycle and the 6 week program felt much better and I was seeing more consistent gains in strength. My ego may have been a contributing factor the my 1RM max in cycle 1 to. Once I set that aside I started to see much better results.

That's the gym I currently use. I like it but I have to tone down the powerlifter in me some being a commercial gym and all. I have gotten some funny looks when I'm trying to get fired up for a big lift:angel:

Considering starting the Candito 6 week in October. Ive read through it several times and set my iPad & iPhone up for Excel. Any tips or advice?

It's a solid program. I agree with Tyler on finding your true one rep max or if you use a rep calculator try to keep the rep counts under 5, it's more accurate. But as with anything it won't work if your bouncing around all the time just stick with it and enjoy the results.

Another good day with the Candito program. It was time to test the max on DL and I was able to hit a new PR with 400. I was very happy with the results this cycle on squats and DL. Bench did stall, but I had a little pain in my elbow when testing my new max. So I'll use that as my excuse for now.:roflmao: Hoping to see all three go up the next cycle.

Hit a new dead lift pr, I don't ever really max. The last time I did I did 405 for a one rep. Most weight I've repped was 435 for a few.
Did 225 for 10
315 for 10
365 for 8
405 for 6
Threw quarters on and did 455 for 3 - that's the most I've ever moved as far as a max or reps so that was very cool. Can't wait to see what this winters fat bulk is gonna get me to:eek:

Back to plyos...

Around the square / 3 sets of 4 full rotations
Tuck Jumps / 2 sets of 10 jumps
Horizontal Bounds / 3 sets of 15 each side
180 Squat Jumps / 3 sets of 10 jumps

Still debating on whether I should start doing squats again or not??? Thoughts anybody? I was thinking maybe 1 day a week mixed with 2 days of plyos...

Some core stuff, foam rolling, and stretching. Knee is feeling much better now that I have been stretching and rolling. I haven't really backed off of playing ball either. Dunks are getting easier, but I still have a ways to go. Not really satisfied yet. I surprised the hell out of some teenagers at the Ymca last week. First looks were priceless...:roflmao:

No debate on doing squats... Do you want to keep your man card?:D

Seriously though, just do some lighter stuff for speed, that won't aggravate your knee.
