Did 375x5 squats fairly easy yesterday, getting back into it finally. Been foam rolling and stretching every night which seems to be alleviating some knee pain I was having.

Some kid was doing 585 squat but with bands, so, idk exactly how much he was actually doing but made me wanna go back to the rack and lift heavier :rofl: dat jealousy.

Haha, I'm a skinny build, it's funny the looks I get when I grab the 125s haha:D

When you take steroids, the timing and periods for shots are determined by the ester attached to the steroid. Most people choose a ester that allows for twice per week shots. Some prefer esters with every other day shots (these act much faster and get results quicker and allow for shorter cycle lengths). The idea is to maintain stable hormone levels. So no it's not like a quick boost you up thing, it takes time for the effects to come, and keeping stable blood levels is key.

Wolf do you feel ready to f*ck up the gym everyday on gear? Like your on preworkout all the time? Or do you just feel recovered and ready to go at it again? Just curious as I have been told steroids only allow you to recover faster not make you feel stronger in the gym?

Lol, there is a younger guy, guessing mid to late 20's, that comes down to the gym once in awhile. I was squatting in one rack just finishing up and he came in wearing sweat pants, about 5'7 170 pounds maybe... Loads up 315 on the rack next to me. I'm thinking WTF? No warmup or nothing he reps out 10:confused: then throws 405 on and reps out another 10... Slaps on 505 and does 4. Now Im blown away, he tells me he wants 500 for 10:thumb:

Good job on 375x5 I would like to squat 405 once:(

No not really. It feels the same to me, except definite strength increase, not ever sore, huge pump, high endurance in the gym (not cardio). Plus you look badass. Muscles just have a different look to them. But they definitely make you stronger, strength goes up well before any additional muscle tissue is built. I've read where Deca acts on your CNS and boost you from there as well. Test is a powerful androgen so that helps with brute power too.

I was taking test alone, then added in NPP(fast deca) and within 48hrs I was noticeably stronger. I wish I knew more about it, cause different stuff has different effects. Some steroids only act on CNS and you lose the strength immediately upon stopping, others work on building muscle tissue more than anything else.

I'll prolly never mess around with anything other than test and deca. They both pretty safe and easy to manage.

Oh boy preworkouts, where to start:rofl:

My take on them, you don't need them. I use them from time to time, currently using Cellucor C4, BCAA energy, Creatine stacked:woott: Mainly because I work a 12 hour shift as a heavy equipment tech, drive 1.5 hours to work round trip & go to the gym at the end of the day... Im usually pooped which can dramatically effect my workout. Also when on a powerlifting cycle each week the weights go up and the reps come down so that you will peak at a certain time. Missing lifts, sets or reps isn't an option and can have a huge effect on your max at the end of the cycle.

I go on and off of them, I don't like them because its crutch to me but if I'm wasted from work what the hell do you do?

Oh and I friggin hate coffee so don't even bring it up... But it's a good option for some.

I might also add that you don't know what they put in those supplements (labels don't always show everything in there)... IIRC they are not regulated by the food and drug Admin. for content...

Yeah I'm no body builder by any means but still like to hit the gym everyday to have some good strength and like to up my weight on all the sets. Just staying in shape lol I wasn't sure if they had a effect on your strength like helping build it. I heard it was an energy drink basically lol

Pre jym was probably my favorite. Everything is clearly listed on the label.

I'm a fan of bsn products too. Hyperfx and no explode are good for me..

I liked Arnold iron pump too, not bad if iron taste doesn't bother you.

I can't remember the last time I cycled off of preworkout. I know your supposed to, I just don't. I don't abuse it though. I take about 150% of the recommended serving size 45 min before I go to the gym. Which is 4:45 am so maybe that's why I need pre,,

I don't do coffee either.

If you've never had ore workout don't drink alot of energy drinks I wouldn't start with a full serving of any of those. You'll geek out and scratch your face off..

C4 seems to be the best for me. I have tried most of them. I have issues sleeping on some of them, jackd3d worked great but kept me up all night, NoXplode was pretty good as well, White flood tatses like a dogs asshole & made me want to scratch my face off...

Each will work differently for everybody...

I would suggest an energy BCAA with creatine. It's what I normally use unless I'm just beat them I stack a couple scoops of C4 in there.... Get that good face twitch goin';)

I gave about 1/2 of it away because i thought I was going to die at crossfit one day. Apparently cardio and white flood are no bueno..

I need to get more bcaa. I have been taking then recently. I take a small amount of creatine with my pre (10g).

I used to take WAY more creatine than that. I was the angriest person ever.. I cut back to a tolerable amount now. I still get pissy sometimes, but that's mostly when I work on fords.
