Thanks Burn Down. Here is what I posted on Snowest.

Ok in talking to the guys up in Eagle, ID here is what I will start with

Programmer: EFI Live with Edge Edge CTS touch screen monitor

Intake: they suggest S&B Dry. I think I want the AFE

Lift Pump: they suggest Air Dog II. I think I want the Fass 150

EGR Delete: they suggest SDP. I really have no opinion here except some have optional colors and I may want something pretty (****I will likely start with just an EGR Block)

Tranny: they suggest a PPE Kit. Sounds good, but I have read folks prefer Suncoast and get more for less with same quality. Thoughts?

So what I know I am starting with:

1) EFI Live with Edge CTS Monitor

2) EGT Block

3) AFE Turbo Mouthpiece

4) Expadable EGT Probe ( not sure of brand)

Next (down the road) will be: (Likely In The Fall)

Intake: Your Thoughts on Brand? Stock modded (good to 500+hp)

EGR Delete: Your Thoughts on Brand? Just run a blocker for now. Delete it if you want the room.

Lift Pump: Fass 150. Any Diagreement on Brand? Airdog is supposedly quieter?? Not sure? I built my own superior filter setup.

New Exhaust: MBRP Turbo Back 5" in Black Good choice, my Magnaflow hangers have cracked and fallen off so I don't push there stuff anymore...

TRANNY: the big question that I have to get right PPE ok? Suncoast? What stage? Stage 4 either kit will work fine the suncoast has better clearance out of the box but the PPE is fine to, you need to check the clearance on both... The kit is only as good as the builder :thumb:

As far as doing it myself? I would like to think I could figure it out, but I am no mechanic so if it is a job beyond a fumbling backyard mechanic than no. I certainly would like to do it myself- difficulty level? about a 7, I guess
Send it!
If your willing to ship it I would say Mike L. for sure in Inglewood Calli.

Daily so I may not be able to ship. However, I am a wildland firefighter and summers are only getting busier so maybe while I am busy and gone.

If it is as only as good as the builder, than I will have it professionally done.

I will look up the modded airbox, but if you have a quick link throw it up. Otherwise, I can tap the search button.

Welcome to DD! Lots of info here and the people are very helpful too. As you've already found out. :)

Sounds like a solid plan is coming together for you. I'm also a DD newb, but I recently installed an Edge CTS with EFI Live, and it's great. Also added a backup cam to make hooking trailers easier.

Yup part of the reason I want CTS as I hook up a lot of trailers. Also, the dealership is going to throw in a bambi bumper, wheels and tires at cost.

I think I am going with a Bodyguard Front, backwoods rear( if it is offered), not sure on wheel, but black for sure. Tires, I loved my dura-trac on my F-150, but I hear they are not that goot on the 3/4 ton.

Truck looks nice, both of my trucks are white too.

I use Photobucket to post pics. It's free, they also have a phone app, and it's easy. Just copy and paste the IMG code. Then they post like this, even from my phone.

Dura-trac's are the BOMB... Whoever told you they don't work well on 3/4 tons is high!
