I'm working on a buddies 2008 truck and installed head studs, 60 over injectors, (sent tips off to get honed) Egr delete, up uppes and manifolds and twin kit. Got it all finished up just about ( exhaust is all that's left) and tried starting it up and it won't start. Bleed the injector lines still nothing. Just cranks and only codes it has are these. Seem to be Egr related, turned them off now and only the first one and 3rd and 4th ones come on when trying to start it. I wouldn't think those would have effect on it starting up though would it?

6k psi right now while cranking. I have a log of it I'll get up later on. I know when I did my injectors in my truck I raised it to 8k but it did start up and run fine at 5k.

Does it smoke at all while cranking? I put my pedal to the floor while cranking and it fires up real quick. Maybe try that for a few.

SOunds like something it is telling it to not let the injectors fire.

no pinched wires anymore?

could try unplugging everything but the injectors and rail pressure sensor to see if it will start.

No pinched wires. I made sure of that. Lol. What all would need to be unplugged?

It is is reading rail pressure (I think it needs > 20 MPa or so?) while cranking, then it is primed enough to try and start. Once the main pulse turns on, the ECU is turning on the injectors (or it thinks it is). At that point, you have rail pressure and power to the injectors, so it should start.

However, there are some codes that might prevent it from actually commanding injector pulse. Also, be sure to log the actual pulse. It may be commanding fuel (mm3), but not commanding a pulse (us) to the injectors.

If you are not getting a main injection pulse:
First, fix the MAP and/or baro sensors. I have seen that cause all kinds of issues.
Second, fix the intake air temperature sensor (unless it really is colder than -40 out). Though this shouldn't prevent a start, I wouldn't think?

You should now be getting a main injection pulse in the log. If it still doesn't start, check to see if the injectors are actually opening (by pulling a glow plug or 8 as suggested earlier).
