Drained the oil, wiped it down, and tucked it in for nice nap while I plumb up the second one. Hopefully spin that one up tomorrow..

They'll both be ready for dyno in a 2 weeks. Depending on when and where that happens, plus the boat is heading out to paint same time. So I hope to drop em down in by first weekend of June and be boating on the 4th of July.

Probably pushing little over 200mph.. I was told she'd do 210-ish.. She "did" 185 in a mile, on a 30mph rolling start at LOTO 2016. There is video of that run on youtube too.

But, it's a dang good example of whats expected from a high performance marine engine.

That's what I'm talking about.. I expect these weismann drives to produce something similar to that level of roost, since they also don't have cavitation plates.

Got bumped from my free engine display spot at UCC, so I just booked one for myself... Since have extra room now, I'll be bringing on of those nasty drives also.

Fired up #2 today. For quick test, bumped FP to 60mpa at idle to see if these sticks clean up. Think they need a little advance now. But man are these puppies smooth, even in hit miss mode..

Thanks Cap. I know I've put a ton of hours in them..

Yesterday I had to hoist, haul 10 miles, hoists again, haul home, and hoist a third time to unload.. Times Two, for total of 6 hoists, and 40 miles dragging engines on a single axle trailer. Seeing all that bling hanging on a $20 strap can sure makes ones butt pucker...

Got one set of mounting plates whipped out over the weekend.

Now waiting on paint to dry, then it's bolt everything together again.. Lots to do if gonna make it to Indy by Thursday afternoon.
