1380 Spicer hardware. Wasn't thrashing on it or anything. Was testing some new 18" 34 pitch props. They hooked up pretty decent, and was just cruising at 60mph,, BAM!! Everything in front and behind it looks fine..

Who makes billet slip yoke splines ??

Checked strange, didn't see anything in this tooth count. Have a shop in Tampa area a local buddy referred me to I'm gonna hit up monday.. Think gonna need a yoke too, not coming apart. Worst part, driveshaft loop ate up my custom reflector ring... :-(

Bummer about the broken parts. Damn, I had to wear ear plugs listening to those turbos whistling away. Sounds great.

We had an appointment set already with a local shop to pull the drives Monday morning and address those leaking gear reduction boxes. So while it sure makes me wonder why that spline shaft broke, it shouldn't impact our overall testing schedule. Expect to back out on the water by midweek.

Try maybe Moser if it is standard automotive if it is boat spacific then I don't have a clue.

Those shafts look through hardened. Is it supposed to be? I thought that maybe they would have a softer core. Can you get a closer picture of the grain?
