Haha if i can end up running 9's on a 371 it might stay in the truck a little longer lol but i doubt it, maybe with lots of spray and a big wastegate haha

I say do a gt4202r with a 1.01 housing then add a wastegate and spray the living heck out of it. Pat's truck went 10.59 with that charger and stock sticks!!!! Just be a badass and do that!!!

Haha ya that would be a lot of fun but I want that national championship in super diesel next year so I need that stock lbz to last all year lol. Not going for the fastest time possible, just need a mid 11 truck that I can tune down to run 11.9's and 12.0's lol

Oh, I kept thinking super street................... Well in that case the boring 371 should be all you need for that. :(

Well, there are plenty of turbos that will work for that, that class is very tight and it's usually always on the driver! I'm sure you know that.

Put The 4202r(74.7mm) and make a tune that will run 11.90 all day(tow tune). After you get bored of playing with the children you can turn the tune up and blow some chit up!!!!

I'll be quiet now:rofl:

I bet a 4088 wold get you to 11.8 and a 4094 could get you to 11.2 (consistently, at altitude), both are easy to spool, easy to tune, easy to twin, put either of these on a t4 and you wont have to worry about drive pressures either

Hmm i don't think a turbo that big is gonna be consistent enough for what i want to do, and be hard to spool at the line, especially at elevation in Billings for example. But i could be wrong, never drove a truck with one, that's the reason why i started this thread, to get more advice. How does yours spool? Have you ever ran it with stock injectors?

Mine spools surprisingly easy. Alot different then I thought. Of course Im at 300' above sea level. No have not ran with stock injectors.

You can run 9's on 1 charger and maybe some spray. If you ad triples you add weight and more stuff to break! Don't mind me l just like when trucks with 1 charger whoop up on twin and triple trucks:woott:

What charger do i need to run 9s on a single? Obviously a Garret, But how high will my EGTS be? Do i need to worrie about drive press? Do I really need spray? Or just a maybe?? how fast to spoool?? I want to lose some weight and really like your idea:thumb:

How much HP do you want to go for with the triple kit when you do build? How much do you care about DDing the truck?

No DD at all. I have other trucks for that lol. And when I go triples with motor build I wanna hit deep in the 9's eventually. No hp goal, just wanna be competitive in super street in a couple years

Holy crap thats a huge jump, you are talking over 1000 WHP at 6000lbs, don't think either one of those turbos will do that for you as the secondary, at least without a lot of spray. Maybe the 71 would if you did interstage cooling but you would have to get into the MAPs to see

I guess I could always run this turbo on the daily then and get a complete new triple setup lol. We'll see when time comes. I'm thinkin I'm gonna go with the 371 now:thumb:

Maybe look at a 472 or 475? I really don't know anything about this 371 or how it flows, haven't seen any maps for it

WTF are you talking about? Have you ran either charger? Or just purely speculating? "Either of these on a t4 and you won't have to worry about drive pressures either"
