Turbo time, which one?

So i'm swapping a complete LBZ drivetrain into my racetruck for next year, still sticking with stock motor for next season, don't really wanna drop the coin for a full built motor right now. I'm sticking with stock cp3, stock injectors i think, but might go with slightly bigger nozzles if neccessary. I'll swap the RDL manifolds and up-pipes onto the LBZ as well, will upgrade boost tubes that don't come with turbo kit, and intake elbow will be upgraded most likely.

I've ran 12.05 with the stock LB7, stock cp3, injectors, turbo etc, raceweight is around 5900 with me in it. I want to be able to run mid 11's, like an 11.5x when turned up, gonna run DSP5 to tune it down for Super Diesel 11.90 class and maybe i'll still run Sportsman as well but still undecided.

I was thinking of going with the EPR billet S366 kit, so i can still use that turbo in a triple turbo setup later down the road, but that precision 67 seems good too, or even a 371??? Little scared the S371 isn't gonna spool very good if i stay with stock injectors.

I'd like to hit the mid 11's without spraying, i have the bottles on the truck but after blowing sh!t up the first time on the bottle i'd like to not have to touch them at all next season lol.

Hoping you guys have some input and help me make a decision soon, gotta have the truck ready for next season by newyears, gonna be too busy to do anything on the truck from newyears to mid march, and that's when we're heading to Phoenix AZ for the first NHRDA race.

Thanks in advance!!

S475. Plenty of room to grow. Mine drives great and runs 11.69 on stock cp3 and 40% overs.

Hmm i don't think a turbo that big is gonna be consistent enough for what i want to do, and be hard to spool at the line, especially at elevation in Billings for example. But i could be wrong, never drove a truck with one, that's the reason why i started this thread, to get more advice. How does yours spool? Have you ever ran it with stock injectors?

I was looking at 371s awhile back and was told they spool pretty much the same as a 366 does. I would defintely go with the 371:thumb:

Awesome, so for the single setup i'm starting to lean towards the 371 now, only other question would be which one would work better in a triple turbo setup later down the road, cuz i'll probably run it for one year and hoping to upgrade to triples for 2014 season, wanna be in Super Street by then

Im SURE Trent would be able to answer that one blindfolded:thumb: IMO it might be a little on the bigger side for a triple kit but not too big. I think a trip kit usually consist of 2 62-64mm and a 66mm but i have no clue just guessing

You can run 9's on 1 charger and maybe some spray. If you ad triples you add weight and more stuff to break! Don't mind me l just like when trucks with 1 charger whoop up on twin and triple trucks:woott:
