Thats about all he's got going for him charged me 525.00 for dsp5 tune and locked the tune so you can't make any changes or read it and they sucked big time. When called he told me it must be the 60% over injectors. Funny i had somone else tune it and they did a great job and i never got my 525 back.

I would not buy anything from this guy what a f***ing joke.

Rob my post wasn't to offend you or your company. I just had a friend that called your company about tuning his truck and from his conversation with the guys they implied differently. Maybe he misunderstood what he was told. Again it wasn't meant as any insult in any way.

Um. Wow. Im sure that Rob's" current" tune, has "more" into it than his "original" tune. Pretty sure Rob is not selling the first tune file he created. Listen to the guy. He hired people to do paperwork, sell parts and help to establish a now successful company, in a short time, during an economic crisis, SO ALL HE HAS TO DO 12 HOURS A DAY IS TUNE! So to tell all us what kinda time he has into a tune? LOL. This thread seems very familiar to another efi related thread.

Post is cheap. Show some actual, factual and tangible examples of real issues, not just back and forth he said she said. Come on

You paid $525 for a single tune from Nick @ DT? Hmmmm. Last i checked an ecm preloaded with a single was only 300, and a single efi live file was like 175, i should go check, i know it wasn't 525. DT's tune sucked big time, so you say. Whos tune blew that hole in the piston pictured in your avarar? I would like to steer clear of that one ya. DT also has a satifaction guarantee, so if you worked with them i highly doubt they would not have backed their product or refunded your money slick.

Why does anyone see a locked tune as being difficult, hello... its good business practice to protect your product/investment y'all, i would lock a tune i put my time into and was building a business off of, wouldn't you? Seriously.

I have to just say that if you could read as well as you can type you would be dangerous. Skintback said a DSP5 tune. That is five tunes in one. How could you know what he paid for the tuning unless you paid the bill? His point more was that the tuning didn't work well on the customers truck. The truck was less than stellar performance wise and the owner would have preferred to have at least been able to change tire size, correct speedometer, etc.. without having to go back and forth like it took him the first time to even get the tuning that he paid for. It was a very similar situation as to the one the OP started this thread about. I see that a high percentage of your post have to be adversarial. It's like you are the only guy on here that knows anything.

He said $525 for a DSP5 tune. I agree that tuners should lock away their secrets, I had no problems with Mark locking mine up :thumb:

I personally think $525 is a bit much just for the tunes, I had mine tuned on the dyno for $499 and Mark even ran 3 of my old tunes before he started so I could get a before / after.

You are quoting me wrong.
My mistake, or it was edited. I read or thought so, he got "a" tune "for" his dsp5 set up
Every efi live tune i have used(except your own v2) requires an email to make a change in tune, thought that was pretty standard? No auto cal can make changes on its own with out command from the v2
I only take an adversary position when i feel as though biased remarks tarnish the nature of the thread.

Back to the subject at hand for a minute. ;)

Henry is and has been a dealer for me for quite a while. As far as I have seen he does his best to take care of people.

I've known Bob for quite a while and he's a good guy too.

This just seems to be a time when two good people disagree and they and the internet let if get out of hand.
