I have stock ucas on my truck. Tuff country doesn't make any as far as I know, but I do love my tuff country lift. I will purchase the cognito ucas at some later date when my wallets healthier

Sorry I guess what i was asking is that do you wish you had just done a leveling kit with cognito uca's but it sounds like you are happy with your decision:thumb: I know the cognito arms are good products but it's a lot of money for a leveling kit.

Oh I misunderstood your question sorry. No I don't wish I had the leveling kit. The lift offers more clearance and more strength due to the corrected CV and steering angles.

Yeah I saw the pics of your truck and it seems to be a perfect height and the angles look better than any lift i've seen. It looks like the way I will end up going with mine. Do you think it would look goofy with 285/70's on H2's ?

I tried buying my kit from them ^^ first, but after 2 messages without a return call I moved on to topgunzcustoms. They will price match and are easy to deal with :2cents:

Going to order my rims/tires this week..just want some opinions to make sure this will work. Looking at 34.5''x 12.5'' nitto terra grapplers on 18s. 4.5'' BS to what tuff country calls for. Other than trimming the bumper...I should be ok with this rubber? No major issues?

Only pic I have for now. As it sits the cv angles are level so I think Im going to add a bigger block in the back and maybe 1 turn on the torsion bars. Other than that...I love it. Get better pics later

4'' 1 Peice
Realift torsion bar relocators
Rancho 9000SX
Cognito support kit
HD Rods
295/70/18 Terra grapplers on XD revolvers.

How do you like the realift things? Did you hve to move the torsion crossmember forward? And where'd you order them from?

Just had the truck back for couple hours now haha...they look good. Looks like I have a 6''. The crossmember was moved back but it comes in contact with the cab mount so the shop that did the install left it there. The torsion bars sit close to subfame peice now but I dont think they will rub...might be 1/8th''-1/4'' space, but I dont see it being a problem. Once I get a camera I can take better pics.

I've got the standard garage door on 33's and clear with about 2.5-3". One thing I have found out though... I busted a CV playing in the sand (no limit straps). I replaced it with a unit from Kragen/Oriely's. It only lasted about a week. I replaced that unit and the same thing happened again. I was able to look at the parts the last time since they didnt go all over the place. The clips on the inside were wore out to the point of failing. Looks like with the TB's dropped all the way down, it might need thicker spacers between the CV and diff. The reman unit's might be a little bit longer then the stocker. I could crank the TB's a lil, but im just going to get the spacer's.

So to get the pyos to fit do you need spacers? I found a good deal on the 4" one piece kit and just wondering if I can use my 265s on my pyos until my tires wear out, then i'll get larger wheels and tires.

I know Russ ran PYOs and his drag tires but they were real small. Id just put it on and test fit, you can get spacers from Tony at All Season Performance, he sold me some that were .40" for running my H2s right after I lifted my truck. I didn't like the increased width up front and bought new wheels a week later.
