I looked for some but didn’t see any. I’ll go back and look harder. The truck is lacking a fuel cooler too…

just watch your fuel temp. iirc its 220* and up it starts to pull back power but if the sensor is doing weird things and spiking, then dropping back to actual, i could see it doing what your seeing.

EDIT: B1011 is the table for the fuel temp to rail pressure so it will pull back max rail, not MM3 like i was thinking.

Well this old trailer has seen a hard life and it only got harder the last month or so. Found a good deal on railroad ties, just had to disassemble the wall they created. She’s WAY overloaded here. Tractor is 4600lbs with all the attachments (not including tire ballast, no idea how much water they have) and 20 ties. There are two broke main deck boards, tail lights need a re-fresh, wiring likes to disconnect ans reconnect while drivin (warning on the dash keeps comin up), and tongue jack is about worn out. I think it’s about time to do a full re-fresh on her and upgrade it. She’s been rode hard and put away wet a hell of a lot since 05

Pricing is fricken nuts on trailers. Can’t find used and new ones are 7-10k for a “cheap” decent 10k gvwr one. So I’m going to up-rate this one. Put some 5200lbs axles under it, change springs, upgrade the crossmembers, change the hitch to a 2 5/16, possibly add more brace to the tongue channel and main long channel, fix the wiring, add some jacks to the back for loading and unloading and new wood. Should be all in for around 2500 bucks. I sold my old trailer for what this one cost me a few years ago so I’m money ahead with it.

You know, because I need another project in my life .

I don’t blame you for just upgrading the trailer you have. If you think I’m about to pay 20k for a damn gooseneck you are sorely mistaken. Thanks RONA

Just some of the stuff i haul around. only haul this heavy crap when i absolutely have to or doing a project solo. I do Facility maintenance on pads in the patch. Majority lease roads so dont sweat DOT too much. lol

thats a triple tandem 40' deck gooseneck (8K?)and the equipment weighs 23.5k for the manlift and 26k for the telehandler.....plus my truck which was at 13k in these pictures. In all honesty, it hauls extremely well for the amount of weight. hauls even better now with the emissions being permanently fixed.

Yeah, got another LMM. 09 4*4. It's a semi basket case for Ohio. WT package
The 07.5 dually been gone for a while. With almost 500k on it was barely worth scrap lol got 315/70/17 on it, getting the basics done already has EFI LIVE on it.

You still running the Freightliner?

I vaguely remember hearing you might be getting the one from Kowclub.

I parked my stuff thanksgiving '19..
I did buy kowclubs FL70 and 40' loadmax GN in April '22.. was planning running my own authority but misjudged the cost.. and time frame, plus hyperbole myself that I didn't look at leasing on to someone.
Still looking and putting it on the road.. maybe next year pending what the FMCSA has to say and how election play out.

Currently taking care of projects that's easier to do with a W2 vs 1099 check

I had that happen on the '04. Luckily I was running the AirDog and pulled into a parts store, grabbed a couple of 90's, couple of barbs, and a close nipple to make a bypass so I could get home and rebuild it.

My air dog is on the way. The filter head won’t be getting rebuilt. I thought about bypassing it and pressurizing the fuel tank to prime. We had stopped at a tractor store to look at flat beds, so it could’ve been done. Risky with no filtration though!!!

I always carry the fittings and some hose to bypass the lift pump if need be. Mine will run with the lift pump off but it won’t idle. Should probably have a stock fuel filter as well since my filter head is deleted.

The pumps typically have higher filtration than the stock, so I left mine in place SHOULD it be required to bypass the lift pump. I think the stock filter had 30K on it. I do change it but it's more of that one more line of defense should water get past the lift pump or the lift pump grenade sending bits through the system.

I deleted my filter head when I put a lift pump on . Used wix 24770 which runs a common 1-14 nipple thread. Can run common 2M cat filter.. I ran Baldwin filters on my stuff 7587(2M) and 1259 for fuel water sep. I generally put 80-90k miles on the filter before I saw fuel starvation
Original setup had petcock on it, but couldn't hold 15psi.
To prime I cracked the outlet hose till I got fuel. Ended up swapping fitting to AN -8 from lift pump and -6 to CP3
Used a 1/4" plate and transposed bolt pattern from OEM head unit and aftermarket head unitScreenshot_20231128-190554.pngFB_IMG_1701216341097.jpg
