You can haul your own cars all you want. Not to mention it's not u hauls job to determine what you do with their trailer. You are the one responsible for being legal. The legal issues come into play when you are hauling a competition vehicle somewhere with the potential to win money. It's very stupid and I would just say that I never make money, but they've been pinching a lot of tractor pullers and racers in our area.

Ohhh, ok, for me, "racecar" is just a car that isn't a street car anymore and I am too lazy to swap wheels at the track. I race for fun, so looks like I am set. Bring on the huge ass trailers! :woott:

Speaking of nice boats, hee is a pic of the one I saw yesterday on my trip to Minnesota to pickup a locker and Hutch for my toolbox.

Not sure if anyone on here has heard of Eilen & Sons but they run a large trucking company and win a lot of national shows with their show trucks. All of their trucks are immaculate. Needless to say, they like nice things.

This boat was parked next to one of their houses.

I know of them well. You were about 25 minutes from me when you took that picture!

They have beautiful trucks.

Interesting, so how does Uhaul or any other trailer rental place get away with renting car haulers to anyone?

(sorry for the derail)

Its not commercial until you pay some to haul your race car(s). If you have the disposalable income you can DD a semi truck if you want to.. Still have to follow weight restrictions for various roads

And dispatch found a last minute load going to Miami area to go with the tractor... That will help offest the ~500.00 parts I just put into the trailer :)

I said yes... Uncle... Well shit... Lol it's a 2011 with 216 hours on it and about as close to NIB as you can get lol

Not far from me
Where you at wolf? Like 50 miles near or closer? I'm planing on have it kicked off around 2-3 pm(receiving hours is 0600-1500) and done for the day.. Obviously if I don't make it tomorrow I sit and deliver first thing thursdr
How often do you stop while driving? Idk how you drive so much, I'd be so bored. Listening to the same music all day would kill me lol
About 75% of the time radio is off.. Cb is barely on.. I'm aloud to drive 11 hours spread out over 14 hours then I have to shut down for 10 hours. 75%/of my runs are ~400 miles long.or ~7 hours of driving..avg day is load/deliver in am drive in the afternoon.. Avg 8 hour days

Really have to say, really cool to see all the different loads on your trailer and what not.

I have to ask, do you like your Kaufman trailer? I bought one new in 2012 (25+5 tandem dual) and have some mixed emotions on it. I was just curious seeing you mentioning that your looking into getting a different trailer.

Keep up the good work!! :thumb:
