That Sucks man, Im still argueing with insurance after i got rear ended about 2 months ago. People need to watch what the F*** they are doing!!!!!

Always leave your hitch in, it saved my bed, but bumper is bye-bye.

he missed my hitch... officer root called me said i might be sopenead as a witness for his driving habit prior to the wreck.... and he is sleeping then county jail tonight

Glad you are alright. Been there...not so long ago. Replaced the stock bumper with this bad boy. If I get hit again, they're definitely going to feel it.

grange called me today to set up a estatmet appt.. monday @ 0900..

see what the quote is going to be... see if both the company and i can make out on some money...

im think 4x8-10" L angle 1/4-5/16" thick on the veticle and 1/8 on the horizontal

Grange is who i delt with too, Expect about a grand for new GM bumper, plastic pads, and hitch if yours is bent. Plus brackets. Dont let em hose ya!

the company that is doing the amount is pretty reputable from what i hear..

hitch is proble bent as well... might get a new torklift out of it maybe work some things out :hug:

Glad you werent hurt Adam .

As bad as it sucks , you know you saved some kids lives or kept them from injury to say the least . With him being intoxicated , he most likely would have plowed the bus .

The story could have been much different , you following a guy who plowed into a school bus full of kids and killed somebody .

Makes you think about the good in this situation for sure . Im glad you were there to stop him .

update met with the grange rep today.. his sujestion
whole new bed side
bumper
bumper brace
decal on tail gate
hitch
new flares
rear lamp
name plates "silverado" and "chevrolet"

from what i here the normally make the check to me and the shop.. well my name is the only one on it ....

talked to a guy that probly forgot alot about paint and body work then most will ever know... (think Mike L in of body work) he is going to take care of my bed and RR door(diff oops)

tork lift hitch, and possible a GN hitch as well. custom made bumper too

and probly pay off some more debt :baby:

i think i am going to come out on top on this :D

Cool man hope you get it all fixed soon. Why don't you try and get a whole repaint for the truck? I would make it as expencive as possible for him/his insurance company.
