Glad ya made out, find a good used bumper to save some bucks, Yeah, they made a check out to me also.

Remember your the one who was hit, so your going to get the money , not like when you turn in a claim on your own insurance and they make a check to the body shop, which sucks.

took measuerments last night to design/build a bumper both are local guys... (body work guy and fabricator) says ~100 for labor plus materials... building the bumper out of 1/4" plate should be able to do it all with less then a 4'x4' sheet the guy has a CNC plasma cutter
nothing fancy simple and effective :D

told him see what happens might hasve some more work for him:baby:

called the towshop said super hitch is 500.00 to anywere lower 48

Like that bumper TX23.;) Thats what you need Adam.

Time for something more stout for sure.

Thank you sir. It's simple, yet effective. Especially since it's also welded to the frame...If they hit it, there'll be massive damage to the front end of their truck/car for sure.

Do you think eliminating any sort of "crush" point by welding your bumper to the frame would make a impact more likely to cause your truck frame damage? Or maybe not....

Looking good so far Adam. When does the bumper fabrication start?

Is the bottom rear most part of your frame bent upwards? If so, what caused that Adam?
