Hitting a deer is something to count as being a bad driver? I had one jump off a ledge onto the road in front of me... don't know anyone who could have avoided it. :hmm:

As far as the ABS, stability control, if you are tracking the car, yes it is better to have it disabled (cars not trucks here), threshold braking is to the next level when the ABS doesn't kick in too early. A well trained driver would 99% of the time be faster in a non nannied car. For daily driving, better to have the stuff, so when you impulse react by driving the brake pedal through the floorboard you don't just put flat spots in the tires, and increase your stopping distance. But I know eveyone considers themselves Mario Andretti. :rofl:
