How about just a quickest 50 Dmax powered GM pickup list? Although I think the dragsters and the cars are cool, They have a big advantage over these big heavy bricks most of these guys are running.

thats only going to eliminate the top 5 off the list

That would bring me back into the top 20 and i havent even went to the drag strip for over a year!:D Im just messing around, i personally think both lists are fine.
I agree. I see nothing wrong with either list. Personally, I hope Duramax performance advances to the point that I get kicked off the top 50 list.

Not sure what your hoping to gain here Henry ? I don't know of a single truck on the Dmax list that couldn't be driven daily if they chose to , even fully built Dmax's are pretty streetable, I could easily drive my race truck to and from work if the bed wasn't gutted and still could with it being gutted if they would tag it, that probably gained me what .1 -.2 tops ?

My thoughts exactly Rob :D

1.Banks Rail 7.17 @ 181.08, 2290 lbs, Liberty XT5/Molinari Clutch - BANKS
2.Banks Sidewinder Type-D 7.72 @ 179, Liberty XT5/Bruno - BANKS
3.Dirtymax 8.801 @ 154.32 (9-26-10) 3268 lbs, LB7, Lenco - ATP
4.NGM Diesel 9.01 @ 145 (9-25-10) 2800 lbs, Lenco - Johnboy
5.NX Mustang 9.216 @ 154.5 (9-18-10) 3600 lbs, LB7, 4L80 - Johnboy
9.Orange Crush 9.87 @ 139 -(06-06) LB7 - TTS

The ones in red really dont see the Banks rail or sidewinder being daily drivers or the NGM Pro stock truck or Dirty Max and Orange Crush. Yes the NX Mustang has driven cross country but it was even said he has to were hearing protection because its so load inside so I dont see it being a daily driver but it was done for the power tour. Also my main thing is these are race trucks and car did not come with a Dmax in them.

Now I have nothing against your truck or Maxed out or others but there is some trucks if it can not be taged it would be nice to have a list for those truck to be listed with the ones above as purpose built.

If we took everone on the Top 50 list and asked everone to do the same tasks drive 400 miles without stopping haul your own tools and parts in your bed and race sled pull or even carry more then 2 people on the trip how many on the list could do that? How many on the list could drive 1,300 miles one way drive around and then turn around and then drive back 1,300 miles thru rain and snow day or night.

Dont take it the wrong way Trent I just think its time for 3 list's stock trucks, mild built truck and then purpose built race cars and truck's.

New best time

Ok I don't have the slips with me, there at the shop. I will have them monday morning with a picture of me towing my buddies truck to the track. I changed tires tighten the shocks removed the tail gate and that was it. I ran a 12.15 and a 12.16 at 108. I will get the time slips scaned for the real numbers. I went to a better track about a 150 miles each way but they prep it a little better. The 60' was a 1.560 leaving at 2500 rpm which is about 22 lbs. of boost. I'm Happy!! This is what got me into Diesel Trucks!! I can still tow with it and race it. I would have tryed to run a nos pass but with me towing my buddies truck and being 150 miles from home thought that might not be a good :Didea. Now, It's time to take my race truck and go play some saturday night poker with the guy's. Jeff

Pretty sure his 60ft's are right as it would take that kind of 60ft to get that quick of et only running 108mph.

Good going guys.

Jeff, I do believe you took over #1. :) Congrats. You may want to snap a couple pics of the truck/motor while you're at it....for posterity's sake.

Congrats to all you guys. Those are some impressive times for sure. I should have bought a regular cab :D

Did you do anything different to your truck today, Chris?

Thanks everyone. I will get some pictures of the motor. It's fun to tune a truck and not work on it to make it go faster. Now I really want to get it into the 11's. I may have to go to a east coast track before the years over. Jeff
