The tale of 2 RC/SB Duramaxes

Not really much of a tale, I guess, but I thought I would share some pics. These trucks were both built by the guy who built the lowered black LMM dually I posted pics of last year.

The first one is his son's truck. It started as a regular cab long bed 3/4 ton. They cut the frame and put a short bed on it. They added a 16" FTS lift and some 46" military tires. The interior was changed to the LTZ style dash and center console. It's ridiculously tall and useless in my opinion, but it looks pretty cool I guess.

The second truck started out as a regular cab short bed 1/2 ton gasser. They made it a quadrasteer and put a Denali interior in it. They put a sunroof in it and modified the rear window opening so they could put a GMT900 power sliding rear window in it. They then decided to put an LBZ and 6 speed Allison in it. It has a 6" lift and a body lift (they had to do to clear the transmission) and is running 35" tires. I think it turned out really sharp. Here are the pics of both.

The interior on both is tits though......especially the white one. Lotta work in both trucks, looks good.

Neither of them are something that I would build if I had the choice. But I will say that the interiors on both of them are very well done (at least what you can see from the pictures anyways)
