NAPA has a lot of things, I use them for everything on the farm, because its so nice and easy with Prolink and free delivery. But sadly for our engines, its kind of a lost cause unless you want a water pump or fan clutch. The rest is mostly Gm parts, even all of those stupid ridiculously expensive o-rings, you can try to use one out of an o-ring kit but its not gonna work 99% of the time.
Many of the gaskets and o-rings are reuseable as long as they are in good shape.
As for the cherry pickers/engine pullers, if you look closely you will realize that the are all almost the same thing. Mine is from Menards. It was like $120. Its identical to many of the others ive seen. I use it extended all the way out where it is only rated for like 750lbs and pull my motor that way, no issues with it at all. We use it for a lot on the farm, when it cant lift something, the back end of it wil come off the ground first, and thats when you just stack some extra weights on it so that you can keep lifting.
they can handle quite a bit. Just use them with care, and remember to turn the jack realease valve the right way, i screwed this up once and send my motor crashing to the ground.
