As long as personal insults are kept to a minimum, then folk can post what they want. We had a public poll and the members decided.
At first, we did censor some of the criticism of TDP here, but it changed nothing. People were still being banned from TDP for what they posted HERE.
Perhaps if you "un-ban" everyone you banned in the last year, that would "Promote Peace". And stop reading the PM's; listening in on private conversations just starts trouble.

I will apologize for that cause I didn't expect it to turn out that way and you were right. Not saying your tactics were right because they weren't but the product proved to be non-cost effective and the Vendor never gave me shit. Hell after talking with Landon at Midwest and a few other pullers I started looking at the product the way you did .

I know adminstrators read my PM's. I was speaking to one of them on the phone, and they quoted word for word what was in a PM to another member, who hadn't even read the PM yet. Also, I had a second username so I could relay technical information without it being given out to other shops, and that username was banned due to the contents of a PM. There were many less obvious occurances over the years as well.
Plus, other members here have been banned at TDP for the content of their PM's.
Neither I or Kat even has the access required to read other folk's PM's here. Only Rob has the correct access to impliment reading PM's and he has sworn to uphold the member's privacy 100%. He's as honest a man as you will find anywhere.

Nick still reads pm's. He read one that I sent to Josh and imediately posted certain contents in a thread that he could have never known unless he read that pm. I believe Josh was banned within minutes of that pm being sent.
Of course he denied it.
Just another reason this site continues to grow. Privacy and being able to state your case without the fear of repercussion.
TDP isn't the only site that has done that, so we were determined to set up the board to the best of our ability so it would not happen here.

What I meant is none of the current staff with the exception of maybe Admin can read PM's. I have no understanding on how one can read them but I know it can be done, just like you do. MikeL's openion may be correct about who is reading them.

First off I know for fact that PM's have been read in the past and that PM's are still being read TODAY! Someday I will disclose this information for NOW confidentiality will hold true.

I constantly hear HOW the moderators over there complain how they DO NOT like the present Administrator and the DIRECTION the forum is taking. I also repeatedly hear that it will NEVER be the same or 'come' back to it's hay day. That is VERY obviously true.
So why the loyalty?
