Not a whole lot to update at this time except that I may be getting a new billet wheel for my s472. Also contemplating the idea of a bed side exhaust exit. I love the look of it but cutting a hole in a perfectly good bed kinda bugs me..but I know I would love it after I did it.

Got creative with a piece of 5" and some puddy and stuck it on there. I would probably only want an inch sticking out past the bed side.

Thinking somewhere about right here..

That might look pretty cool, definitely unique

I've read articles about a pre-runner duramax powered Silverado that has an exhaust that comes up through the bed like a stack kit but instead of going straight up the exhaust heads back to the the wheel well, then follows the contour of the well then exits at the top of the bed rail above the wheel well with a 45* slash cut tip....

I think it looks sweet, and if ya did it like that you wouldn't have to cut the side of the bed
:)

It's easy, I've already got a hole for my stack..run a pipe up through the bed and just follow the under side of the bed rail. You would still have full bed access.

Custom autos blue truck and Dan's ford are like this. Personally I like it, its different. BUT I would rather run a hoodstack if I wanted to cut something up. Because a new hood is cheaper than a new bed :)

I don't know if I mentioned it already but I won $300 worth of gift cards to power tech diesel (formerly powerlabs) at the last event I went to. I called them up today to see if I could snag a set of ARP main studs. He was checking on availability and would let me know. So hopefully tomorrow I will have a free set of main studs on there way to me.

Hopefully the pipe out the bed doesnt f up your paint job with heat and soot. I ran a turnup @ rmr and had a hell of a time getting the paint back to normal.

So I decided for sure I'm going twins. Going to keep my s472 as the high pressure turbo and have either an s488 or gt4718 as the atmospheric charger.

Got a little bored today and started messing around with the twin parts and got the first piece to the puzzle made. Inlet for the s472... fits perfectly and once powder coated, it will look real nice in there.

Unfortunately I can never make up my mind...as of about 3 hours ago I think im staying single turbo. Going to have my s472 turned into a billet s480 and gate it so I can run it hard.

Uhuh I know how that goes I to now have been eyeing Mark at Danville's sweet little BMW 3794. But hay nothing says you can't use that puzzle piece for a sweet standard mouth pice:thumb:
