Billet shafts should be here friday, new input drum will be here mo day and my billet p2 planet should be here late next week I'm hoping. With any luck, I'll be finishing the build and installing it Jan 2nd.

So i told the wife I may be making some more trans purchases and she asks "can I still get a pair of boots?", so I say we'll of course. So she says "ok well then I don't give a shit what you do to your trans".

She's alright in my book.

Mike got a good wife! She is awesome!

Rather than pay $110 for the allison spanner nut socket or $20 for a Chevy 4x4 axle nut socket, I made my own for free. Came out rather nice in my opinion:D

Just my experience when installing billet input.... I could not get the c1 clearance called out and had to get suncoast to send me a new top plate that was machines down a little more. Just a heads up

I checked the shaft vs the stock one with my micrometer and they were identical. I will he sure and double check. If something is up, I have a lathe.

I just checked the billet shaft again. Its identical in dimension to the stock shaft.

Ok good, mine was either slightly different or I got too thick of a top plate to begin with. But I also installed mine back in 2012. That makes it easy if they are the same

Billet p2 planet showed up this morning thanks to Evan@LimitlessDiesel, that guy will bend over backwards to get you rolling again.

Starting to look like a trans again.
