Mike Im running 4L80 speed sensors in mine. With this refreshed 1057 lockup IS definetly a little faster because the converter isnt loosey-goosey, but still, it sometimes wont lock until 3rd gear.

something i have thought about while watching my logs .... our rpm window is so short in 2nd gear .... i have watched on my logs and the slip rpm is droping like its trying to lock in 2nd ( or being fully coupled anyway) and then you can see it go back up for the disengagement for the 2-3 shift then it starts to drop again and locks up, in mine locks bottom-mid of third @ 50 mph + or - 1 , i wonder if on the looser converters ( 1055,1058, ) if it's taking to long to couple for that short window on the higher powered trucks .... boy i wish i would have known when lockup was cammanded . i will have that answer this weekend . thinking this doesnt apply for you though Ben yours seems a bit diff than mine . i will post up my log for you to compare with what you have logged .
i am not concerned for my truck it feels fine just trying to help by comparing data and feel it would be nice to lock up a touch earlier .
