Allison 6sp: Swap Allison for???

I know I would (before the built cost that is) My trans is perfect when I drive like a grandpa, wouldnt even know it shifts. But WOT I wish It could definately be more consistant.
X2 the shifts are so inconsistent and sloppy. Even on a built trans it sux. Im thinking zf6!

Not sure why you guys have so many problems , both my trucks shift like a dream.
X2, the only times I had sloppy shifts was when I would try different tunes out. The ECM tunes I run have matching TCM tunes to work together.
trans itselfs is fine. The TC is what causes it to be inconsistant. Some times it doesn't lock at all. Some times it will. Some times it will lock, then unlock
why wont it. I know its an electronic problem.. A different tcm and trans that arent as finacky, they are too self protective. I looked for so long for an LBZ with the zf6 before I gave in

WTF are you always complaining about madmax? Buy something else if your so unhappy. Get your trans refreshed, swap a manual in, get good tuning, etc. I've had 50k on my built trans, a Ton of passes at the strip, lots of beating on on a stock TCM tune and haven't once had a hiccup. Change my spin on a little less often than I should and haven't once been let down. And its a SCV prebuilt POS:baby:

Never gave up on the Alli and never will. It is not a 6L90 as I don't think it would hold as yet.
