Called every shop in the salt lake valley, no one has a sump in stock....called the last shop 50 miles away and they stock the Beans sumps. Lucky me! On my way to go snag it.

Page 29 in the link below describes/disclaimer the use of CAT filters on other types of applications, page 11 describes the Standard Efficiency, Advanced Efficiency and the Ultra High Efficiency filters. The 1R-7050 (5-10 um absolute) which is an Advanced Efficiency filter is touted on many websites as a 2 micron and use a PDF dated from 2009.

The UHE 364-5287 comes in at <4um and is a bit more expensive and having no W/S. My plan is a lift pump (fuelab) with a Donaldson P55203 with the nicktane adapter with the same (already done) so I have no additional fuel filters to keep around and call it done...

Let me know if this dosent pan out. I have a new beans sitting on the shelf for a project that you could barrow or swap with or we can work something out.

Got it finished up and took it for a drive. Only got on it for a few seconds here and there. But so far, it feels great. Might sneak on the dyno tomorrow and see if there is any noticable difference.

I pretty much redid everything. Ripped out all the old fuel lines and got rid of the metal lines on the frame rail.

I ran 5/8" hose from the sump to the fass, then 1/2" through the filter and up to the engine bay where it splits to a 1/2" feed for each cp3. I put new fittings in the cp3's also since it was setup for 3/8" previously. Also built a bracket for the fass to mount to as well as the fuel filter. I need to data log it and see how it does. Overall though, I am thrilled with it and how it turned out. I installed my pressure in the filter housing (what you see in the pic) amd the fass was cranking out 18psi. So i lowered it back down to 12 psi.

Also wrapped the 5/8" feed line in protective spiral wrap.

Looks great. The beans sump really is the way to go. I installed one a few months ago and it went together very smoothly. I need to rip out all my factory hard lines as well, still running all factory lines from the lift pump forward.

You sure do love that dyno, lol.

I like the FASS sump simply because it can be installed without dropping the tank. Maybe the Beans can too, but it doesn't look like it from the picture.

Nice. I'll have to get one of those next time I do a sump install then.

Bean sump is very easy to install. Just be careful where you drill. I almost caught the arm/float for the level sending unit. Spent a solid 20 min carefully planning where to drill too.

Its kind of hard here to do street testing. I live on the out skirts of salt lake, but still in the city. Hard to find a road you can fly 120+mph on. Dyno makes that easy.
