Track conditions are a big part of my decision. Sometime the start is loose and guys cant get goin, so i dont boost launch then. A good hard track, lighter sled setting, boost launch like you got a big charger will help greatly.
Our tracks are normally loose and when I had a stock turbo id leave as hard S could every time. 1st gear starts are useless.
Ok i need some advice from yall... this will only be my second time pulling Tonight... i have a stock motor stock turbo ppe stage 5 trans with an ats co pilot. Dsp5 with a nice big tune on it. The first time i pulled i put it in four low left the shifter on 3 and just hammered down lol but i accidentally left my valet switch on so i didnt have full power..
I did however make it 274 feet... i had the tbars all the way down and all 4 y
Tires at 35 psi... i have falken rocky mountain 265 70 17 on the truck. I weogh about 6800 lbs as she sits... any advice tips or hints on how to run it or what else i can do to it before tonight? Also is there a way to launch an auto trans in 2nd or third? I didnt think it was possible with an auto. Also should i use the copilot or turn it off? Thanks, corey.
