Track conditions are a big part of my decision. Sometime the start is loose and guys cant get goin, so i dont boost launch then. A good hard track, lighter sled setting, boost launch like you got a big charger will help greatly.

The first time i pulled i put it in four low left the shifter on 3 and just hammered down lol but i accidentally left my valet switch on so i didnt have full power..
I did however make it 274 feet... i had the tbars all the way down and all 4 y
Tires at 35 psi... i have falken rocky mountain 265 70 17 on the truck. I weogh about 6800 lbs as she sits... any advice tips or hints on how to run it or what else i can do to it before tonight? Also is there a way to launch an auto trans in 2nd or third? I didnt think it was possible with an auto. Also should i use the copilot or turn it off? Thanks, corey.

Our tracks are normally loose and when I had a stock turbo id leave as hard S could every time. 1st gear starts are useless.

This sums it up right here. I usually watch the other trucks to try and determine how they are hooking up and how hard they are leaving. If the conditions appear to be right I load up on boost and launch out of the hole. If the trucks are hooking up hard off the line and bouncing I back off a bit.:D

If the class allows, block your rear axle and clamp your springs. Also get your truck as close to 8,000 lbs as possible. Rules will depend on if this is a nadm event or just a local promoter putting on a show at the fair.:thumb:
