Hmm interesting for sure, i didnt think it would fit without modding the hood. good to know.
They actually sit about 9 inches off the top of the cylinder head. This is slightly lower (overall) than the stock intake.

yeah ok banks thats all fine and dandy. We all realize the stock setup sucks and Im not doubting your gee-whiz setup isnt 100x better, but how does this apply to anyone without a custom tube chassis dmax-powered race car? We are limited/restricted to using the (poor) stock setup because thats the only way it will still fit in a pickup truck with a turbo in the stock location. So why are you trying to sell us something that 99.8% of us dont even have a use for?
next product please..
Ill leave the ooo-ing and ahh-ing to everyone else.
This is for the hardcore drag racer or truck puller only. If your incapable of building an engine that can take advantage of these manifolds then they are obviously not for you.
Have you guys thought about just putting a Y bridge back in there?
Maybe spread out the runners so we can still fit a turbo in the valley
Can't you guys come up with a practical LLY alternative? Some of us don't want to see the goodyear blimp.
The proble there would be air distribution to the cylinders. The Duramax head is a little different then a typical 4v head in that the ports aren't right next to each other and they are different lengths. Getting both ports to flow at the same rate if very difficult as it is but even more so when the individual ports have unequal air flow to begin with. To get the maximum air delivery to the cylinders this was the only practicle solution. On the up side the manifold includes the block off plate for the turbo and (with lly and up engines) the hard line for the fuel system
How many of the pro-stock pulling tractors do you know of that run factory intake/exhaust manifolds or the turbo in the stock location??? Exactly, none...why is that?
actually i know of quite a few, not pro stock but super farms and such as the rules require them to run the stock manifolds.
Im glad banks is finally bringing their race products to market instead of building trucks with parts we could never buy.
But i doubt many of us will be able to use it at all. Looks like a lot of work

So then no, you do not know of any in the PRO STOCK class. Try again
