I was thinking something in the lines of the old Edelbrock Streetmaster manifold. It was a low rise single plane short runner shit manifold that when coupled with a Paxton SC would move more air than any setup Paxton tried. I used this setup on my Cobra kit car and made insane power. I was running under 10 psi but it felt like more.

I known that tey were looking at something similar though we ran into the same problem, the air delivery to the ports was uniform. A street application might not notice it but as these were built strictly for racing only they figured "why compromise?". As to how they fit under the hood here's a pic I found. Credit to Micky for taking the picture of his truck:

I have often thought about building a sheet metal intake for my truck. I really think most people are overwhelmed by looking at this intake, but once you get down to it, its not as big of an undertaking as it looks

there is alot to relocate though.

one thing on the lb7's is getting the return lines out of the way, you can swap that out to an fittings since its all banjo bolts and hoses?

my return line doesnt even sit in the valley anymore:) Dont forget the fuel temp sensor

As Josh said thats not a big deal,High pressure lines would be more difficult but Banks includes those IIRC

i would make all hp fuel lines outta the Parker flex lines if i was to do something like build a new intake:cool2:

That is all fine and dandy but does parker offer the correct ferrell(spelling??) degree on the fittings? And once you find a supplier for that hose which is used in water cutting or other industrial applications, find someone who can actually crimp them. My local hyd shop can get the hose, but parker will have to crimp the fittings on at the factory, that is if they even offer the correct fitting. Just food for thought.
